Origin: Port Ellen, Isle of Islay, Scotland. Distillery founded in 1815 on the southeast coast of the island.
Raw materials: Malted barley, smoked with local peat according to Islay tradition.
Color: Light gold with amber highlights.
Nose: Intense and assertive, with notes of peat and smoke, seaweed, iodine and medicinal hints, accompanied by nuances of vanilla, licorice and a salty touch.
Taste: Full-bodied and oily, with an entry dominated by peaty smoke that evolves into caramelized sweetness, candied lemon peel, aromatic herbs and vanilla. Long, persistent, maritime and smoky finish.
Alcohol content: 40%
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C, ideal for enhancing aromatic complexity.
Pairings: Smoked fish like salmon, aged cheeses (blue, cheddar), grilled meats like lamb and game, traditional Scottish dishes like haggis. Also excellent as a sipping spirit.
Terroir: Unique character influenced by Islay’s maritime environment, local peat rich in seaweed and coastal plants, and water from the Kilbride Stream, which impart minerality, savoriness and the typical iodized character.
Production: Floor-malted barley, smoked with peat. Traditional distillation in copper stills and 10 years of aging in ex-Bourbon casks, which enrich the whisky with sweet and spicy notes without affecting its peaty soul.

Such changes include removing or adding products and/or changing the delivery address.
