Grape variety: 100% Merlot
Color: Intense bordeaux red with garnet reflections
Nose: Complex and deep, with hints of ripe fruit such as cherry and blackberry, accompanied by spicy notes of nutmeg and vanilla, as well as toasted nuances of coffee, licorice, and dark chocolate.
Palate: Firm and full-bodied attack, well-structured and hearty. Soft and elegant tannins provide harmony, with a balanced and persistent finish.
Alcohol content: 14% vol.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Ideal with red meats, roasts, braised dishes, game, cured meats, and aged alpine cheeses.
Terroir: The grapes come from four wine-growing regions of Ticino: Mendrisiotto, Luganese, Locarnese, and Tre Valli. Each area contributes unique characteristics: fragrance from Mendrisiotto, structure from Luganese, elegance from Locarnese, and character from Tre Valli.
Vinification: The selected grapes are vinified separately by the four producers. After careful tasting to balance the different characters, the wine is blended and aged for over 16 months in new French oak barriques. Subsequently, it matures in the bottle to reach optimal balance.

This wine represents the most significant expression of the temperament of a small but extraordinary wine-growing territory, combining tradition and innovation to offer a product of great personality.
