Color: Intense ruby red with violet reflections
Nose: Fruity aromas of cherry and raspberry, with notes of Mediterranean herbs, light toasted nuances, and hints of tobacco.
Palate: On the palate, it presents a balanced structure with fine, well-integrated tannins. Notes of red berries, vanilla, and tobacco, supported by a pleasant acidity that provides freshness. Elegant and persistent finish.
Alcohol content: 13.5%
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Ideal with grilled red meats, roasts, aged cheeses, and mushroom-based dishes.
Terroir: Vineyards located in the Mendrisiotto, Luganese, and Bellinzonese regions, with light to medium clay soils, south-facing at an altitude of 350-400 meters. The climate features dry winters, rainy springs, hot summers, and mild autumns, with high sun exposure.
Vinification: Fermentation on the skins with long maceration in stainless steel tanks, followed by 12 months of aging in used 500-600 liter barriques.
Description: The Tinello is a Ticino Merlot that best expresses the characteristics of the territory. Careful vinification and aging in wood give the wine aromatic complexity and an elegant structure, making it suitable for both immediate consumption and moderate aging.
