Color: Golden amber with warm, bright reflections, typical of young brandies aged in wood
Nose: Complex and enveloping, with notes of dried fruit and raisins, vanilla, honey, and light hints of toasted wood. Nuances of caramel and almond emerge in the background, adding elegance and roundness to the aromatic profile.
Palate: Dry and smooth, medium-bodied. It offers a pleasant balance between alcoholic warmth and natural sweetness. Notes of cooked fruit, oak wood, and a finish with hints of delicate spices. Clean, harmonious, and persistent finish.
Alcohol content: 36% vol
Serving temperature: 18-20 °C
Pairings: Ideal as an after-dinner digestif. Perfect with dark chocolate, dry pastries, almond biscuits, or nut cakes. Also excellent with aged cheeses or paired with a medium-bodied cigar.
Terroir: Not linked to a specific terroir. As it is a wine brandy, it derives from base wines originating from French wine regions and is subsequently distilled in Switzerland. Aging in oak barrels imparts softness and aromatic complexity.
Vinification: Double distillation of white wines in copper pot stills. The resulting distillate is aged for at least 6 months in oak barrels to round out the tones and harmonize the aromatic components. The addition of caramel (E150d) to adjust the color is possible, in accordance with traditional practices.
