Origin: Peñafiel, Valladolid, Castile and León, Spain
Grape variety: Tempranillo (Tinto Fino)
Color: Intense ruby red with garnet highlights
Nose: Complex and enveloping, with notes of ripe black fruit such as blackberry and blackcurrant, accompanied by floral nuances of rose and lavender, and hints of anise and sweet spices.
Palate: Dry, structured, with silky and elegant tannins. Flavors of plum, black cherry, and cocoa emerge on the palate, balanced by fresh acidity and a light minerality. Long finish with spicy and toasted notes.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Ideal with grilled red meats, roasts, stews, game, and aged cheeses. It also pairs perfectly with mushroom-based dishes and oxtail.
Terroir: The vineyards cover 130 hectares, 70 of which are owned by the estate, with soils that benefit from fluvial, colluvial, and aeolian influences, giving the wine a solid structure and a distinctive aromatic complexity.
Vinification: The grapes are hand-selected and vinified using modern methods, followed by 12-14 months of aging in French oak barrels, some of which are new, to add elegance and depth to the wine's profile.
