Nose: Intense and aromatic, with hints of rose petals, lychee, ripe tropical fruits, and delicate notes of sweet spices, such as cinnamon and cloves.
Palate: Elegant and rich, with remarkable persistence and a perfect balance between freshness and structure. The palate reveals notes of exotic fruit, citrus, and a touch of honey, with a light minerality that enhances its complexity. The finish is long and enveloping, leaving a sensation of freshness and sweet spice.
Serving temperature: 10-12°C
Pairings: Ideal with spicy fish dishes, blue cheeses, Asian cuisine such as curries and dishes with sweet spices, as well as foie gras and refined fruit-based desserts.
Terroir: The "Kolbenhof" vineyard is located in one of the most suitable areas for cultivating Gewürztraminer. Soils rich in clay and limestone, combined with a favorable altitude and significant temperature fluctuations, contribute to creating a perfect microclimate for the development of complex and structured aromas.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo soft pressing to preserve the integrity of the aromas. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature, followed by a short maturation on the lees to enhance aromatic complexity and roundness on the palate.
