Bouquet: Intense and complex, with hints of ripe wild berries, blackberry, and cherry, accompanied by spicy notes of black pepper, leather, and slight hints of cocoa and vanilla.
Taste: Dry and enveloping, with a robust structure and soft, persistent tannins. On the palate, notes of dark fruits such as plum and blackberry are perceived, with a spicy and slightly toasted finish. The minerality provides freshness and depth, making the wine balanced and persistent.

Serving temperature: 16/18° C
Pairings: Perfect with red meat dishes, such as roasts, braised meats, game, and grilled meats. It also pairs well with aged cheeses and robust, flavorful pasta dishes with meat ragù and mushrooms.
Terroir: The Lagrein grapes are grown on gravelly and calcareous soils, typical of the hilly area of Termeno, which lend minerality and complexity to the wine. The location benefits from a cool, breezy climate, ideal for the slow ripening of the grapes.
Vinification: After manual selection of the grapes, they are vinified with long maceration to best extract the tannins and aromas typical of Lagrein. This is followed by aging in large oak barrels for 12-18 months, which adds roundness and complexity to the aromatic profile.
