Terroir: The Nebbiolo grapes for this Barbaresco come from the historic Valeirano vineyard, located at an altitude of approximately 450 meters. The soil is composed mainly of calcareous marl, giving the wine a distinctive mineral character and great longevity. The combination of altitude and soil favors a slow ripening of the grapes, maintaining the wine’s freshness and elegance.
Vinification: After manual harvesting, the grapes undergo prolonged maceration and natural fermentation. This is followed by aging in oak barrels for approximately 24 months, which rounds out the tannins and enriches the wine's aromatic complexity, maintaining a balance between structure and finesse.
