Grape Variety: 100% Merlot
Color: Intense ruby red with garnet reflections
Aroma: Notes of ripe red fruit such as cherries and currants, accompanied by balsamic and spicy hints, with touches of licorice.
Taste: On the palate, it is fresh and smooth, with good structure. The tannins are well-defined but delicate and integrated, offering a long and persistent finish.
Serving Temperature: Serve at room temperature in large glasses.
Pairings: Pairs perfectly with hearty dishes, red meats, and game.
Terroir: The grapes come from vineyards located in Biasca, cultivated using the pergola system with vines aged between 35 and 55 years. These vineyards benefit from a favorable microclimate and soils that give the wine particular complexity.
Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation and maceration for 25-28 days in stainless steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine matures in 225-liter barriques for 22 months, followed by bottle aging for 5 months.

Produced by Fratelli Meroni Sagl, a family-run business with over thirty years of experience, this wine reflects the producers' dedication and passion for viticulture.
