Bouquet: Rich and enveloping bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruit such as cherry and blackberry, integrated with nuances of sweet spices, leather, and slight hints of tobacco and vanilla.

Taste: Dry, elegant, and structured, with silky and well-defined tannins. Balanced by good acidity, it offers hints of berries, undergrowth, and spices, with a persistent and refined finish. The complexity of the taste makes it particularly suitable for aging, allowing for pleasant evolution over time.

Pairings: Perfect for grilled red meats, braised meats, game, and aged cheeses. It also pairs well with traditional Tuscan dishes such as Florentine steak, wild boar stew, and sliced beef, enhancing their intense flavors.

Terroir: The Morellino di Scansano Riserva comes from the Moris Farms vineyards located in the hills of Scansano, characterized by a Mediterranean climate with hot, windy summers. The soil is rich in minerals and clayey sands, contributing to the freshness and tannic structure of the wine. The Sangiovese vines, along with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, ripen slowly, developing complexity and aromatic intensity.

Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand, with slow fermentation at a controlled temperature. The wine matures for 12 months in oak barrels, refining further in the bottle for a period before commercialization, to enhance its characteristics of elegance and depth.
