Nose: Very fruity bouquet with predominant notes of wild berries and cherry, accompanied by light spicy nuances
Taste: Soft and rich on the palate, with fine tannins supported by good acidity, which provide balance and persistence. It displays the typical characteristics of wines from the Mendrisiotto, with a pleasant freshness and harmonious structure
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Serving temperature: 17-18°C
Pairings: Ideal with red meats, cold cuts, and cheeses. Particularly enjoyable with saffron risotto
Terroir: The grapes come from vineyards located in various areas of the Mendrisiotto, including Castel San Pietro, Morbio Inferiore, Pedrinate, Balerna, and Ligornetto. The vineyards, mostly over thirty years old, are cultivated using integrated production methods with a simple Guyot training system
Vinification: The vinification is traditional, with a maceration of about 10 days without concentration of the grapes or must. Aging takes place in stainless steel tanks, with bottling in the month of August following the harvest
