Palate: Rich and aristocratic, with a solid and well-defined structure. The attack is dense and warm, supported by a pleasant freshness and a minerality that balance the generosity of the velvety, high-quality tannins. The superlative and persistent finish leaves a long and satisfying taste impression.

Pairings: It pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, game, and mountain cheeses, enhancing every course thanks to its complexity and decisive character.
Terroir: The Costamagna vineyard is located on the San Zeno estate in Lamone, north of Lugano. Planted between 1975 and 1980, it was acquired by Claudio Tamborini in 1999. This Merlot perfectly expresses the terroir of the Tamborini estate, with a harmonious and balanced profile, enriched by velvety tannins that make it particularly refined.
Vinification: Carefully selected grapes are vinified with a long maceration, to which this wine owes its special, elegant, and aristocratic character. This is followed by aging in oak barriques for 18 months.
