Color: Intense ruby red, with violet reflections that foretell good concentration and structure.
Nose: Elegant and complex, with notes of ripe black fruit such as blackberry and plum, accompanied by hints of aromatic herbs, sweet spices, and subtle nuances of coffee and tobacco.
Taste: Enveloping and structured, this wine presents velvety tannins and balanced freshness. Flavors of ripe wild berries, dark chocolate, and spices emerge on the palate, with a persistent and harmonious finish, characterized by a pleasant mineral sapidity.
Serving temperature: 16-18° C
Pairings: Ideal to accompany grilled red meats, game roasts, braised meats, aged cheeses, and mushroom or truffle-based dishes. It is also suitable for pairing with structured Tuscan dishes such as Bistecca alla Fiorentina.
Terroir: Located in the hilly lands of Bibbona, a few kilometers from the sea, the terroir of Tenuta di Biserno is characterized by alluvial soils with clay and limestone components. This composition gives the wine a particular minerality and sapidity, along with a refined tannic structure.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified separately for each variety. After fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, the wine ages in French oak barriques for a period of about 12 months, with additional months in the bottle before being released for sale.
Description: Pino di Biserno is a wine with the typical elegance of the Tuscan coast, where the influence of the Mediterranean climate is reflected in the optimal ripening of the grapes. A red of great intensity and finesse, it offers a complete and engaging tasting experience, capable of surprising with its harmony and depth. Its structure and freshness make it a wine that can further mature in the bottle, acquiring greater complexity.
