Origin: Montepulciano, Tuscany, Italy
Grape Variety: Prugnolo Gentile (Sangiovese) with small additions of native varieties.
Color: Deep ruby red with garnet nuances, a sign of aging.
Nose: Intense and refined, with complex aromas of ripe red fruit such as cherry and blackberry, combined with spicy notes of vanilla, black pepper, and a slight hint of tobacco and cocoa, derived from aging in wood.
Palate: Structured, enveloping, and harmonious, with velvety, well-integrated tannins that offer a long and persistent finish. Natural freshness balances the fruit concentration, revealing mineral hints and a pleasant savoriness that reflects the Tuscan terroir.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Excellent with roasted red meats, game, braised meats, and traditional Tuscan dishes such as pappardelle with wild boar sauce and ribollita. It also pairs well with aged cheeses and Tuscan cured meats, adding a note of elegance to every course.
Terroir: The clay hills of Montepulciano, enriched by marine sediments, provide the Prugnolo Gentile with unique characteristics of complexity and minerality. The vines benefit from a temperate climate, with hot, dry summers and cool nights that favor slow ripening and perfect aromatic expression.
Vinification: The grapes are hand-selected and subjected to long fermentation to enhance the varietal characteristics. After fermentation, the wine matures for at least 36 months, partly in large oak barrels, to achieve balance and depth.
