Origin: Castel San Pietro, Mendrisiotto, Ticino, Switzerland.
Grape Variety: Merlot.

Nose: Intense aromas of ripe dark berries and plum, enriched by delicate spicy notes of elderberry.
Palate: Juicy and elegant, with refined tannins and hints of red berries, culminating in a long, enveloping finish.
Serving Temperature: 18°C.
Pairings: Ideal with refined dishes such as beef Wellington, braised beef, saddle of venison, and wild boar prosciutto.
Terroir: The vineyards of Castel San Pietro, located in the Mendrisiotto region, feature calcareous soils that give the wine excellent structure, ideal for long aging.
Vinification: Produced only in exceptional vintages, Rubro di Rubro is born from a selection of the best Rubro barriques, with an aging period of at least 18 months in wood and a further 12 months in the bottle to develop complexity and elegance.
