Grape variety: Merlot
Color: Intense ruby red with garnet reflections.
Nose: A complex and enveloping bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruit such as cherry and plum, accompanied by spicy nuances and hints of vanilla and cocoa derived from aging in wood.
Taste: On the palate, it is dry, structured, and full-bodied, with elegant and well-integrated tannins. The balance between freshness and softness makes it pleasant and persistent, with an aftertaste of ripe fruit and sweet spices.
Serving temperature: 16-18°C.
Food pairings: Ideal with roasts, game, and aged alpine cheeses.
Terroir: The vineyards are located on calcareous soils in the municipality of Castel San Pietro, giving the wine a solid structure and a distinctive minerality.
Vinification: The Merlot grapes are hand-harvested and vinified using traditional methods. The wine matures in oak barrels, refining its organoleptic characteristics and developing aromatic complexity.
