Origin: Douro Valley, Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal — produced by the historic house W. & J. Graham’s, founded in 1820 and now part of the Symington Family Estates.

Grape Variety: Typical Tawny Port blend (Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and other indigenous Douro varieties).

Color: Luminous amber with copper highlights.

Bouquet: Complex and enveloping, with hints of dried fruit (walnuts, almonds), honey, figs, and caramel notes.

Taste: Rich and velvety, balanced between ripe sweetness (dried fruit, figs, caramel) and freshness. Long, warm, and lingering finish.

Alcohol Content: 20% vol.

Serving Temperature: 10–12 °C, served slightly chilled.

Pairings: Perfect with dried fruit-based desserts, crème brûlée, almond cakes, cookies, and dark chocolate. Also pairs well with blue cheeses like Gorgonzola and Stilton.

Terroir: Terraced vineyards of the Douro, characterized by schist soils that favor concentration and complexity. Aging takes place in the historic cellars of Vila Nova de Gaia, in oak casks that provide softness and aromatic complexity.

Vinification: A blend of selected wines with an average aging of 10 years in seasoned oak casks, which impart toasted notes and great harmony.

Description: The Graham’s 10 Years Old Tawny Port is a masterful example of aged Port: elegant, seductive, and full of complexity. It is considered one of the best Tawnies in its category, thanks to the perfect balance between freshness and maturity. Notes of dried fruit and honey, combined with a silky persistence, make it a wine for contemplation as well as a great companion for refined desserts.

Classification: Port DOC — Tawny with age indication (10 years).

Type: Red fortified dessert wine.

Allergens: Contains sulfites.

Awards and ratings:

  • 93 points James Suckling

  • 91 points Wine Enthusiast

  • 90 points Wine Spectator

  • 92 points Wine Spectator (other tasting panels)

Philosophy: Traditional, family-run viticulture — Graham’s belongs to the Independent Winegrowers category, with direct management of the vineyards and commitment to highlighting the Douro terroir.
