Grape Variety: 100% Merlot
Color: Intense ruby red with violet hues.
Bouquet: Intense aromas of red fruit such as cherry and blackcurrant emerge on the nose, accompanied by hints of sweet spices, aromatic herbs such as thyme and lavender, and light woody notes from the aging process.
Taste: On the palate, it presents a velvety structure with soft, well-integrated tannins. The wine offers good freshness and savoriness, with a long and persistent finish reminiscent of ripe fruit and spices. Its elegant structure and complexity make it suitable for long aging.
Alcohol content: 14.5%
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Perfect with grilled red meats, roasts, game, aged cheeses, and rich first courses such as lasagna or pappardelle with wild boar ragu.
Terroir: Cultivated in the vineyards of the Sito dell’Ulmo estate, near Lake Arancio, the soil is composed of medium-textured earth with a good presence of pebbles and limestone, lending minerality and structure to the wine. The altitude of 195 meters above sea level and the Mediterranean climate ensure optimal ripening of the grapes.
Vinification: The grapes are grown according to SOStain organic protocols, with a particular focus on sustainability. The vinification includes temperature-controlled fermentation and aging in barriques to enhance the balance between fruit and spices.
Awards and scores: The 2019 Merlot Sito dell'Ulmo received a score of 93 points from Wine Enthusiast, recognized for its elegance and complexity.

Such changes include removing or adding products and/or changing the delivery address.
