Origin: Canton Ticino, Switzerland
Raw materials: Ticino grappa with maceration of green walnuts and spices
Color: Intense dark brown, almost black, with bright highlights
Nose: Intense and enveloping, with notes of green walnut, vanilla, cloves, candied citrus, and light nuances of caramel
Palate: Balanced bittersweet, soft and velvety. On the palate, vegetal hints of walnut husk, warm spices, and a persistent finish with an elegant earthy aftertaste emerge.

Serving temperature: 16/18 °C
Pairings: Excellent as a digestif, perfect with aged and blue cheeses, dark chocolate desserts, vanilla or hazelnut ice cream. It also lends itself as an ingredient in spiced cocktails.
Terroir: Ticino is characterized by a temperate, hilly climate. Tradition dictates that green walnuts be harvested by hand on St. John's Day (June 24), which ensures the freshness and aromatic intensity typical of this liqueur.
Production: The green walnuts are harvested by hand, cut, and left to macerate in Ticino grappa along with sugar and spices. The liquid rests for a long time, developing aromatic depth, and is subsequently filtered and bottled.
