Grape variety: Pinot Nero and Chardonnay
Color: Pale pink with copper highlights, fine and persistent bubbles.
Bouquet: Delicate and refined, with notes of small red fruits such as raspberry and redcurrant, accompanied by floral hints of dog rose and light nuances of yeast and bread crust.
Taste: Dry, fresh and harmonious, with good structure and a pleasant creaminess on the palate. Flavors of wild berries blend with a light citrus note, providing long persistence and an elegant mineral finish.
Alcohol content: 12.5%
Serving temperature: 6-8°C
Pairings: Ideal as an aperitif or with fish appetizers, raw seafood, swordfish or salmon carpaccio. Also perfect with light pasta dishes, fish or seafood risottos, and fresh cheeses.
Terroir: The grapes come from the morainic hills of Franciacorta, characterized by clay-limestone soil that gives the wine particular finesse and minerality. The area's microclimate, with its proximity to Lake Iseo, promotes slow and gradual ripening of the grapes, ensuring maximum aromatic expression.
Vinification: Harvesting is carried out by hand and the grapes are vinified separately. Fermentation takes place partly in steel and partly in barriques, followed by secondary fermentation in the bottle according to the classic method. The wine ages on the lees for at least 36 months before disgorgement.
