Bouquet: Complex and enveloping, with notes of ripe red fruit such as cherry, plum, and blackberry, accompanied by spicy nuances of black pepper, cloves, and hints of tobacco and cocoa.
Taste: Dry, structured, with elegant and persistent tannins, balanced by a lively freshness. On the palate, notes of wild berries and spices are perceived, with a pleasant minerality that reflects the volcanic terroir. The finish is long and harmonious, with balsamic and licorice undertones.

Serving temperature: 16-18° C
Pairings: Pairs perfectly with grilled red meats, roasts, braised meats, mushroom-based dishes, and aged cheeses. Also ideal with game and robust pasta dishes like lasagna or ragù.
Terroir: The Aglianico grapes come from the hills of Irpinia, on soils of volcanic origin that give the wine a distinct minerality and a marked tannic structure. Temperature variations between day and night favor the slow and complete ripening of the grapes, giving the wine aromatic complexity and freshness.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified in steel. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature, followed by aging in oak barrels for 12 months, which rounds out the tannins and adds complexity to the wine. After bottling, the wine ages further in the bottle for several months before being released to the market.
