Bouquet: Fresh notes of red fruits such as raspberry, blackcurrant, and blackberry, with spicy nuances
Taste: Dry, structured, with elegant tannins and a long finish. Flavours of ripe fruit and a slight spiciness emerge on the palate, with a mineral and saline finish
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Food pairings: Ideal with grilled red meats, roasts, game, and aged cheeses. It also pairs well with mushroom and truffle-based dishes
Terroir: The grapes come from various plots in the Malcantone region, situated at an average altitude of 380 m, on soils composed of gneiss and moraine deposits, which give the wine a distinctive minerality
Vinification: Fermentation with indigenous yeasts for 6-8 weeks, followed by aging in oak barrels for 18 months, with approximately 10% new wood
Description: "Orizzonte" is a red wine of great elegance and complexity, an authentic expression of the Ticino territory. Produced mainly from Merlot grapes with a small addition of Cabernet Sauvignon, it offers an aromatic bouquet rich in red fruits and spicy notes. On the palate, it is structured, with fine tannins and a long, mineral finish. A wine with excellent aging potential, capable of evolving and enriching itself over time
