Serving temperature: 8-10° C
Pairings: Pairs perfectly with freshwater fish, fish terrines, lobster, shellfish, hard cheeses such as Appenzeller, Gruyère and Sbrinz, sausages, sauerkraut with bacon and ham, cheese casseroles or other cheese-based dishes.
Terroir: The vines are located on steep slopes with gypsum-rich soils, giving the wine a distinctive minerality and characteristic freshness.
Vinification: Fermentation takes place at relatively low temperatures for several days, preserving the fresh and fruity aromas of the Chasselas.
