Terroir: The Château Prieuré-Lichine vineyard extends over several plots in the communes of Cantenac, Arsac, Labarde, Soussans, and Margaux, characterized by gravelly soils that favor drainage and optimal ripening of the grapes. This diversity gives the wine an elegance and complexity typical of the appellation.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates to preserve the integrity of the bunches. After rigorous selection, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by a 25-27 day maceration. Aging takes place in French oak barriques for 18 months, with 50% new barrels and 50% second-fill, to enrich the aromatic profile and soften the tannins.
