Nose: Complex and enveloping, with predominant notes of ripe black fruits such as blackberry and plum, accompanied by spicy hints of black pepper, vanilla, tobacco, and balsamic undertones.
Palate: Full and round, characterized by a remarkable yet soft and velvety tannic structure. The balance between the acidity and the sweetness of the dark fruits combines with a light note of dark chocolate and licorice, providing a long and harmonious finish.

Serving temperature: 18-20° C
Pairings: It pairs magnificently with braised red meats, game, roasted lamb, and aged cheeses. It is also excellent with rich pasta sauces or grilled filet mignon.
Terroir: The Primitivo di Manduria is cultivated on the calcareous and clayey soils typical of the Salento area. The vines benefit from a hot and dry climate, with significant temperature fluctuations between day and night, which favor a high concentration of sugars and a complex aromatic profile.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo long maceration to extract the maximum characteristics of the grape variety. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks, followed by aging in French oak barriques for at least 12 months, which contributes to the aromatic complexity and the softness of the tannins.
