Bouquet: Complex bouquet with notes of dark fruit such as blackberry and cherry, accompanied by hints of sweet spices, dark chocolate, and a touch of black pepper.
Taste: Dry, full-bodied, and velvety, with well-structured tannins and good acidity. On the palate, there are rich flavors of ripe berries and a slight herbaceous note that provides freshness and depth. Persistent and harmonious finish.

Pairings: Pairs perfectly with red meat dishes, roasts, game, stews, and aged cheeses. Also excellent with flavorful pasta dishes featuring mushrooms and meat sauces.
Terroir: Grown in the fertile valleys of Trentino-Alto Adige, the Hofstätter Lagrein benefits from a cool climate with significant temperature fluctuations that favor the development of unique aromatic complexity. The soil is predominantly alluvial with limestone and gravel components that impart minerality and character to the wine.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested manually to select only the best bunches. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve the fresh and intense aromas of the grape variety. Subsequently, the wine matures in oak barrels for several months, acquiring softness and a well-balanced tannic structure.
