Origin: San Benedetto di Lugana, Peschiera del Garda, Veneto, Italy. The estate is located between the southern shore of Lake Garda and Laghetto del Frassino (a nature reserve).
Grape Variety: 100% Turbiana (Trebbiano di Lugana).
Color: Straw yellow with greenish highlights.
Nose: White flowers, citrus (green apple and apricot; fruitiness is accentuated after short aging).
Palate: Dry, fresh and harmonious, juicy and finely fruity (apple, pear, peach), typical finish with bitter almond and long sapidity.
Serving temperature: 10/12° C
Pairings: Aperitif; delicate appetizers; lake and sea fish; light white meats. (Also excellent with trout "in saor" or clam chowder for "local" and international pairings).
Terroir: Clayey soils typical of the southern Garda belt, which provide distinct sapidity and minerality; breezy microclimate of the lower Garda.
Vinification: Manual harvesting from the second half of September; soft pressing; fermentation in steel at 16 °C; "sur lie" aging; subsequent minimum rest of 1 month in the bottle.
Description: This wine is the most agile and crystalline interpretation of Turbiana signed by Le Morette – Azienda Agricola Valerio Zenato: floral-citrus profile, crisp fruit and an almond-like finish on a savory trail that invites another sip. The careful vinification in steel with aging on the lees preserves aromatic precision and creamy texture, making it versatile at the table and perfect as a "local" aperitif. It is a Lugana of immediate pleasantness but capable of evolving over 2–3 years.
