Raw material: 100% Williams Pears (Pyrus communis, "Williams" variety)
Color: Crystalline, clear and brilliant, with transparent reflections that enhance its purity.
Aroma: Intense, elegant and clean. On the nose, it releases notes of ripe Williams pear, white flowers and a subtle herbaceous nuance. The aromatic profile is sharp, fine and authentic, with a natural and seductive fragrance that recalls freshly picked fruit.
Taste: Dry, harmonious and velvety. On the palate, there is a fruity sweetness balanced by a hint of spice and a delicate freshness. The body is soft and refined, with a long, fruity finish that is perfectly balanced between alcoholic warmth and aromatic purity.
Alcohol content: 37.5% vol.
Serving temperature: 8 – 12 °C, served in a distillate or tulip glass, slightly chilled.
Pairings: Ideal as an elegant digestif, it pairs well with fruit-based desserts, tarts, dry pastries and dark chocolate. Also excellent with fresh or medium-aged cheeses, thanks to its freshness and clean palate.
Terroir: Produced in the heart of Switzerland, in the hilly area of Willisau. The temperate climate with significant temperature variations between day and night favors the aromatic development of Williams pears, ensuring slow and uniform ripening that enhances the intensity of the fruit and its sugar concentration.
Distillation: The pears are harvested manually at full maturity and naturally fermented. Distillation takes place in double-pass copper stills, selecting only the heart of the distillate to achieve maximum purity. After distillation, the product rests in steel to refine and harmonize the aromatic components.
