Bouquet: Elegant and complex, with notes of ripe wild berries, black cherry, and blackberry, enriched by hints of vanilla, dark chocolate, and delicate spicy nuances of black pepper and tobacco.
Taste: Dry and enveloping, with a soft and velvety tannic structure. On the palate, aromas of plum, sour cherry, and a touch of licorice emerge, perfectly balanced by a lively freshness and long persistence.

Pairings: Perfect with red meat dishes, such as braised meats and roasts, game, and aged cheeses. It also pairs wonderfully with rich pasta dishes, such as pappardelle with wild boar ragù, and with high-quality dark chocolate for a surprising combination.
Terroir: The Merlot vines grow on the calcareous and clay soils typical of Ticino, benefiting from a mild and well-ventilated climate. These optimal conditions contribute to the concentration and aromatic richness of the grapes.
Vinification: After rigorous grape selection, fermentation takes place in steel tanks with frequent pump-overs to best extract color and tannins. The wine is aged for 12-18 months in French oak barriques, which confer elegance and complexity.
