Grape Variety: 100% Merlot
Color: Deep and intense ruby red
Nose: Harmonious and complex, with fruity hints of plum and blueberry, accompanied by light spicy and toasted notes, with mentholated nuances.
Palate: Fresh and bold attack. Well-structured and balanced, featuring high-quality, ripe, and sweet tannins. Good savoriness accompanies the long and persistent finish.
Alcohol content: 13.8% vol.
Serving temperature: 18°C
Pairings: Ideal with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
Terroir: The grapes come from the Sopraceneri region, particularly from the Lower Leventina and the Riviera, areas known for producing high-quality Merlot.
Vinification: Traditional maceration for 12-15 days at 28-30°C. After malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for about 15-18 months in French oak barriques.
