Origin: Casalotto di Mombaruzzo, Asti, Piedmont, Italy
Grape variety: Blend of Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Moscato pomace

Aroma: Broad, delicate, and enveloping, with notes of ripe fruit, small berries, cocoa, and vanilla
Taste: Rich and harmonious, confirming the olfactory sensations with a persistent and pleasant finish

Pairings: Ideal as a meditation spirit, it pairs well with dark chocolate, cocoa-based desserts, and dried fruit. Excellent with blue cheeses and quality cigars as well.
Terroir: The pomace comes from the Monferrato hills, an area renowned for the production of fine wines, which give the grappa unique complexity and character.
Distillation and aging: Distilled using a discontinuous steam copper pot still, the grappa is aged for 8 years in 1200-liter casks and an additional 2 years in 100-liter barrels, for a total of 10 years.
Description: "Solo per Gian" is an aged grappa created from the union of three Distilleria Berta reserves: Tre Soli Tre (Nebbiolo), Roccanivo (Barbera), and Bric del Gaian (Moscato). This blend, produced in 2005, was aged for 10 years in wood, developing a complex and harmonious aromatic profile. The grappa is dedicated to Gianfranco Berta and supports the SoloPerGian Foundation, which assists artisans in difficulty and promotes the learning of trades among young people.
