Grape Variety: Traditional blend (Folle Blanche, Baco Blanc, Colombard)
Color: Intense amber with golden reflections, deepening with age
Nose: Complex and enveloping: notes of dried fruit (plum, raisin), vanilla, caramel, sweet spices, and toasted wood. Older vintages add rancio, hazelnut, and sweet tobacco
Taste: Dry, warm, and harmonious; soft structure balanced by fine tannins and evolved sweetness. Younger vintages (15–25 years) offer candied fruit, delicate spices, and vanilla; ultra-aged vintages (50–100 years) offer depth, elegant rancio, notes of roasted coffee, cedar, and tobacco.

Serving temperature: 18–20 °C in a tulip glass
Pairings: Ideal digestif on its own or with dark chocolate, dry pastries, blue cheeses, truffles; more mature vintages are perfect with pipe tobacco or cigars
