Terroir: The Cabernet Löwengang is born from vineyards located in Magrè, in Alto Adige, on well-drained soils rich in clay and limestone, which ensure excellent ripening of the grapes. The alpine-Mediterranean climate, with significant temperature fluctuations, promotes the development of intense aromas and a complex structure.
Vinification: Vinification is carried out using traditional techniques, followed by a long maceration to best extract the wine's aromas and structure. After fermentation, the wine is aged in oak barrels for approximately 18 months, acquiring complexity and greater roundness in its tannins.
Description: The Cabernet Löwengang DOC 2014 is an iconic wine from Alto Adige that fully represents the philosophy of the Alois Lageder winery. Born from a blend of Bordeaux grape varieties, this wine is characterized by elegance, depth, and a distinctive personality. The biodynamic care of the vineyards and the nature-respecting approach make this wine a perfect expression of the territory. Rich and layered, with great aging potential, it is an excellent choice for those seeking a sophisticated and authentic Cabernet.
