Color: Light and luminous amber, with elegant golden reflections
Nose: Refined and complex, with notes of ripe fruit (apricot, candied citrus), dried fruit (almond, walnut), accompanied by floral accents, light spices, and vanilla, with a fine and subtle rancio.
Taste: Soft and balanced, with great freshness and purity, featuring a predominance of fruit and a calibrated presence of wood. Nuances of licorice and delicate spices emerge on the palate. A long, dry, and elegant finish of great persistence.
Alcohol content: 40%
Serving temperature: 18/20 °C, in a cognac snifter
Pairings: Ideal as a neat digestif. Pairs perfectly with dark chocolate, hazelnut and almond-based desserts, dry pastries, and medium-bodied cigars.
Terroir: The grapes come exclusively from the Grande Champagne region, characterized by calcareous soils and a temperate climate that grant elegance, complexity, and aging potential to the eaux-de-vie.
Vinification: Traditional distillation in copper stills. Average aging of over 25 years in seasoned French oak casks. No added sugar or coloring. After blending, the cognac rests in a long “marriage” in old casks, which harmonizes aromas and structure.
