Raw material: Selected Williams pears
Color: Clear, crystalline
Aroma: Intense and distinct notes of ripe Williams pear, white flowers, a hint of almond, and traces of citrus.
Taste: Dry and clean, soft entry, juicy and fruity mid-palate; long, elegant finish with lingering pear notes and balsamic freshness.
Alcohol content: 43% vol.
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C, in a tulip glass
Pairings: Dry pastries, pear tart/frangipane, vanilla ice cream; creative pairing with foie gras or soft cheeses. Also excellent served "neat" at the end of a meal or as a highball with soda/dry tonic.
Terroir: Pears sourced from prime areas within the Alpine/Pre-Alpine region; high altitudes and significant temperature fluctuations promote intense primary aromas and natural acidity, ideal for a fragrant and precise distillate.
Distillation: Controlled fermentation of the pulp; slow double distillation in a discontinuous still with strict selection of the “heart” of the distillate; rested in stainless steel to integrate aromas without imparting color; light filtration; no coloring agents.
