Raw materials: 47 botanicals including lingonberries, herbs, spices, and citrus; aged in mulberry wood barrels.

Color: Intense gold with amber reflections.

Nose: Complex and harmonious, with elegant woody hints, vanilla, dried fruit, and sweet spices. In the background, fresh herbaceous and citrus notes emerge, typical of the original Monkey 47 recipe.

Palate: Soft and velvety, with a full and deep structure. On the palate, there are notes of toasted wood, vanilla, berries, and dried fruit, with a long and dry finish, enriched by spicy nuances and botanical freshness.

Alcohol content: 47%

Serving temperature: 8 – 12 °C if enjoyed neat or on the rocks.

Pairings: Excellent neat or in structured cocktails like the Monkey Old Fashioned. Pairs well with dark chocolate, caramel desserts, and dried fruit. It can be served with neutral tonic to enhance its aromas without overpowering them.

Terroir: The botanicals from the Black Forest are combined with aging in 110-liter lightly toasted mulberry barrels, which add aromatic complexity and softness.

Production: Gin distilled with 47 botanicals according to the original Monkey 47 recipe, then aged for approximately 180 days in new, handcrafted mulberry wood barrels.
