Bouquet: Complex and enveloping, with notes of ripe red fruit, cherry, and plum, accompanied by spicy nuances and hints of vanilla and cocoa, derived from aging in barriques.
Taste: Dry, structured, with elegant and persistent tannins, well-balanced by a lively freshness and a minerality that reflects the Ticino terroir. On the palate, notes of wild berries, sweet spices, and a pleasant roundness are perceived, making it versatile and refined.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: It pairs well with grilled red meats, roasts, braised meats, aged cheeses, and dishes featuring mushrooms and truffles. Furthermore, it is ideal with game and traditional Ticinese dishes.
Terroir: The grapes come from the best viticultural areas of the Sottoceneri, characterized by rich soils and a favorable microclimate that give the wine a particular minerality and a marked tannic structure, making it ideal for aging.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo traditional vinification, with fermentation in stainless steel vats and subsequent aging for 15 months in new and second-use French oak barriques of 225-300 liters. No stabilizing treatments, no filtration, with racking and wine movement carried out exclusively by gravity.

Rigorous selection in the vineyard, low yields, and optimal ripening give rise to a full-bodied and well-structured wine, which is at the same time soft, round, and velvety in the mouth, with well-integrated tannins that are never aggressive or astringent, always wrapped in a pleasant fruity aroma.
