Origin: Tre Valli (Lower Leventina, Riviera, and Blenio Valley), Canton Ticino, Switzerland.
Grape variety: 100% Merlot.
Color: Intense and brilliant raspberry pink.
Nose: Intense and harmonious, with fruity notes reminiscent of wild strawberry.
Palate: Fresh and fruity, pleasant and well-balanced, with a savory finish and good persistence.
Alcohol content: 12.8% vol.
Serving temperature: 8-10°C.
Pairings: Ideal as an aperitif and paired with appetizers, fish dishes, poultry, and light pasta dishes.
Terroir: The Merlot grapes come from the Tre Valli of Ticino, characterized by a favorable climate and soils that impart freshness and minerality to the wine.
Vinification: The rose must of the Merlot is obtained through destemming and crushing of the grapes, followed by very soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18-20°C. To maintain freshness and savoriness, the wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation.
