Color: Intense ruby red with garnet reflections
Nose: Rich bouquet with notes of ripe red fruit, enriched by aromas of sweet spices such as cigar tobacco
Taste: On the palate it is rich and full, with silky tannins and a spicy, persistent finish. Notes of red fruit reappear with a long and harmonious aftertaste
Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Ideal with grilled red meats, roasts, game, and aged cheeses. It also pairs well with mushroom and truffle-based dishes
Terroir: The grapes come from vineyards over 35 years old located in the "Ronco" and "Piana" areas, characterized by clayey and calcareous soils, which give the wine structure and minerality.
Vinification: Fermentation in open steel tanks with maceration for about 30 days, followed by aging for 24 months in 300-liter French oak barriques.
Description: Topazio 2019 is a wine that best expresses the potential of the Ticino terroir, combining the softness of Merlot with the structure of the Cabernets. The long maturation in wood gives it complexity and significant aging potential, making it an excellent choice for lovers of elegant and long-lived wines.
