Château Rieussec

Château Rieussec is a renowned winery located in the heart of the Sauternes appellation, in the Bordeaux region of France. Founded in the 18th century, it is recognized as a Premier Cru Classé in the 1855 classification. The estate is famous for producing highest-quality sweet wines, obtained thanks to "botrytis cinerea," a noble rot that concentrates sugars and aromas. Under the management of the Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) group, Château Rieussec combines tradition and innovation to create complex, elegant, and long-lived wines that perfectly express the unique terroir of Sauternes.
