Origin: Stabio and Ligornetto, Canton Ticino, Switzerland
Grape Variety: 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon
Color: Intense ruby red with garnet reflections
Nose: Broad and persistent bouquet, with fruity notes of wild berries and spicy nuances
Palate: Rich in aromas, appropriately tannic, balanced with soft tannins and hints of bell pepper and red berries
Alcohol content: 13% vol.
Serving temperature: 18°C
Pairings: Ideal with cured meats, pasta, roasts, semi-hard cheeses, polenta, and both red and white meats
Terroir: The vineyards located in Stabio and Ligornetto benefit from a favorable climate and soils that lend the wine structure and complexity
Vinification: Hand-harvesting of selected grapes in small crates, full destemming and crushing. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel. Malolactic fermentation and aging of the Merlot in stainless steel, and the Cabernet in second and third-fill barriques for 18 months. Blended before bottling. Further aging in the bottle for 4 months. Unfiltered wine to keep aromas unaltered
