Bouquet: Intense and complex, with notes of ripe red fruit such as cherry and plum, enriched by spicy nuances of black pepper and vanilla, and accents of licorice and tobacco.
Taste: On the palate, it is dry, full-bodied, and velvety, with well-integrated, soft tannins. The structure is harmonious and persistent, thanks to a light acidity that provides freshness. Hints of forest fruits, herbaceous notes, and a touch of cocoa emerge, with a long and refined finish.

Pairings: Ideal with grilled red meat dishes, game, roasts, and aged cheeses. It also pairs well with typical Calabrian dishes such as roasted kid goat and spicy mushroom and bell pepper-based dishes.
Terroir: The Gravello vineyards grow in the calcareous-clay soils of the Val di Neto, which promote good minerality and structure. The Mediterranean climate, characterized by mild winters and hot summers, allows for ideal grape ripening, enhancing the balance between acidity and tannins.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo a long and delicate maceration to extract the aromatic and structural qualities of the Gaglioppo and Cabernet Sauvignon. This is followed by temperature-controlled fermentation and aging in French oak barriques for 12 months, which gives the wine complex elegance and a refined aromatic bouquet.
