Origin: Ticino, Switzerland
Grape variety: American grape
Color: Crystalline, clear, transparent, typical of young grappas not aged in wood.
Nose: Intense and characteristic, with fruity hints reminiscent of strawberry and small red fruits, accompanied by light vegetal nuances typical of the American grape variety.
Taste: Dry, bold, with a significant alcoholic structure. On the palate, it is warm yet balanced, with good harmony and a medium persistence that recalls the fruity notes perceived on the nose.
Alcohol content: 45% vol.
Serving temperature: 18-20 °C (can be served slightly cooler if preferred).
Pairings: As a post-meal digestif, excellent with dark chocolate, ideal with desserts based on dried fruits (hazelnuts, almonds), interesting with aged cheeses, and perfect for a "caffè corretto".
Terroir: Produced from the pomace of American grapes grown in the Ticino region. Here, the climate is characterized by mild summers and cool nights, which help to preserve freshness and aromas. Well-drained soils allow the American grape to express its unique character, which is reflected in the grappa.
Vinification: The pomace is distilled using the traditional method in a copper still. No wood aging is involved, which preserves its purity and aromatic authenticity.
