Color: Intense amber with copper reflections
Nose: Complex and refined, with aromas of dried fruits, figs, raisins, and ripe plums. Notes of honey, marzipan, toasted nuts, and a touch of sweet wood emerge.
Palate: Silky and elegant, with honeyed sweetness, summer fruits, and light spices. Finishing in Port casks imparts soft nuances of red fruits, balanced by nutty and caramelized tones. Long, harmonious, and velvety finish.

Serving temperature: 10°/12° C
Pairings: Ideal with aged cheeses, dark chocolate, desserts based on dried fruits and honey, fruit tarts. Perfect as a meditation whisky.
Terroir: Speyside is one of the most renowned Scottish regions for whisky production. Here, the cool and humid climate allows for slow and steady maturation. The Balvenie distillery is distinguished by its craftsmanship: it still maintains floor malting, has an in-house cooperage, and relies on master coopers for cask care, ensuring total quality control.
Production: Initial aging in traditional oak casks, followed by refinement in carefully selected Port casks, which enrich the distillate with aromatic complexity and velvety softness.
