Nose: A floral bouquet of slightly dried flowers, with fruity notes of bilberry and wild blackberry, accompanied by a light woody touch and pleasant smoky nuances
Taste: On the palate, the wine presents a pleasant balance and medium structure. The tannins are delicate and well-integrated, offering a dry sip that maintains the typical softness of Merlot

Pairings: Pairs perfectly with charcuterie boards and semi-aged cheeses, succulent cheeseburgers, and pasta with beef ragù
Terroir: The vineyards are located in both the Sopraceneri and Sottoceneri regions, with sandy soils in the Maggia delta and silty soils in the Sottoceneri. The vines are trained using the spurred cordon system with a density of 4,600 vines per hectare
Vinification: Manual harvest takes place between the second and third week of September. Fermentation and maceration take place in stainless steel tanks and truncated conical wooden vats, followed by aging in truncated conical vats and second-fill barriques for approximately 24 months

Aging in different types and shapes of wood imparts elegance and persistent notes to the wine. The 2021 vintage benefited from a mild winter and a cool spring, followed by a hot summer with good diurnal temperature variation, ideal conditions for grape ripening
