Bouquet: Complex and deep, with aromas of black cherry, ripe plum, and spicy notes of black pepper and vanilla. Floral nuances of violet and slight hints of aromatic herbs are also perceptible on the nose.
Taste: On the palate, the wine is well-structured and enveloping, with velvety tannins and a lively acidity that balances its fullness. Notes of red fruit and spices blend harmoniously with a pleasant minerality, creating a long and persistent finish. It is a wine that displays elegance and freshness, reflecting the quality of the terroir.

Pairings: Excellent with red meats, braised dishes, and game. It also pairs perfectly with traditional Piedmontese dishes, such as truffle risotto and bagna càuda.
Terroir: The grapes come from the La Crena vineyard, located in the Nizza DOCG area, characterized by calcareous-clay soils. The vines, some of which were planted in the 1930s, benefit from an optimal southern exposure, which promotes slow and uniform grape ripening.
Vinification: The wine is produced with spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by 18 months of aging in wooden barrels, 20% of which are new. This process gives the wine aromatic complexity and structure.
