Palate: Soft and velvety, dry yet balanced entry, with flavors of mocha, carrot cake, candied tropical fruit, cola, and cherry, enriched by a long and spicy finish with hints of toasted wood and bourbon vanilla

Pairings: Perfect for meditation when sipped neat, excellent with dark chocolate, spiced desserts, or dried fruit-based treats. Interesting paired with aged cheeses and Caribbean cigars. Also ideal in sophisticated cocktails like rum old fashioned or sours.

Terroir: The sugar cane comes from Barceló's own plantations, grown in a hot and humid tropical climate that promotes sugar and aromatic concentration. Aging takes place in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, which impart complexity and sweet woody notes.

Aging: A blend of selected rums aged between 4 and 10 years, matured according to the traditional Dominican method.
