Color: Intense ruby red with garnet highlights
Nose: The bouquet is complex and enveloping, with notes of ripe red fruit, such as cherries and plums, accompanied by floral nuances of rose and violet. Hints of spices, white truffle, and traces of mint and tobacco are also present.
Palate: On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with velvety and well-integrated tannins. The freshness of the Nebbiolo provides balance, while notes of red fruit blend with sweet spices and earthy tones. The finish is long and persistent, with a complexity that invites further aging.
Alcohol content: 14.5%
Serving temperature: 18-20°C
Food pairings: Ideal with red meats, game, aged cheeses, and mushroom-based dishes, such as truffle risotto.
Terroir: The grapes come from the Cerequio area, one of the most prestigious Barolo crus, located between the municipalities of La Morra and Barolo. The soils are calcareous with clay, ideal for imparting structure and complexity to the wines.
Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel with maceration on the skins for about 3-4 weeks, followed by aging for 30 months in oak barrels.
