Origin: Veneto, Italy – Piave area, located in the provinces of Treviso and Venice. This region is renowned for producing high-quality wines thanks to its fertile soil and ideal climatic conditions.
Grape Variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Color: Intense ruby red with violet reflections, which attest to the wine's youth.
Nose: Complex and intense on the nose, with notes of forest fruits such as blackberry and currant, enriched by spicy nuances of black pepper, tobacco, and light herbaceous hints typical of the grape variety.
Taste: On the palate, the wine is dry, full-bodied, and well-structured, with firm yet balanced tannins. It reveals aromas of ripe fruit, particularly cherry and plum, with a slightly balsamic and persistent finish. Its freshness and good acidity lend it a pleasant elegance.
Serving Temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Pairs perfectly with red meats, game, roasts, and aged cheeses. Also excellent with pasta dishes featuring meat ragù and polenta, or with typical Venetian cuisine such as Venetian-style liver.
Terroir: The vineyards are situated on alluvial land, characterized by clay and gravel soils that facilitate water drainage. The Piave area enjoys a temperate climate, with cold winters and hot summers, ideal for the ripening of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
Vinification: Following manual harvesting, the grapes undergo maceration with temperature-controlled fermentation for approximately 10-15 days to best extract color and tannins. This is followed by aging in wooden barrels, which provides the wine with greater complexity and roundness.
