Grape variety: 100% Merlot
Color: Intense ruby red with garnet reflections, a sign of balanced maturity.
Nose: Elegant and complex, with predominant notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and blackberry, accompanied by hints of sweet spices, tobacco, and a delicate touch of vanilla derived from aging in wood.
Taste: Structured and harmonious, with soft and velvety tannins. On the palate, flavors of ripe fruit, dark chocolate, and a subtle minerality emerge, providing balance and persistence. The finish is long and enveloping, with a pleasant freshness.

Serving temperature: 16-18°C
Pairings: Perfect with grilled red meats, braised dishes, game, and aged cheeses. Also excellent with mushroom or truffle-based dishes.
Terroir: The hills of Castel San Pietro are characterized by calcareous and clayey soils, ideal for growing Merlot. The climatic conditions of Ticino, with warm, breezy summers and cool nights, favor optimal ripening of the grapes, enhancing the varietal character and the complexity of the wine.
Vinification: The harvest is done manually, selecting only the best grapes. After a long and controlled maceration, the wine is aged in oak barrels for 12-18 months, bestowing structure and a complex aromatic bouquet.
